Head football coach Kevin Rose has made quite the impact at Bob Jones High School. Rose has been chosen as our coach of the week.
Rose has been chosen four times as coach of the year in 2000, 2001, 2009 and 2010. Rose has led his teams to the playoffs eight out of nine seasons.
Rose has led his team to break All Time School Record’s for wins in 2001 at Sheffield High School and in 2009 at Bob Jones High School.
Rose has been married to his wife Heather for 16 years. They have two children, Kaylee and Caden.
Rose majored in Secondary Education and received a Master’s Degree from UNA.
Q- Do you only coach football?
A- Yes, I only coach football at Bob Jones- Head Football Coach (I have also been a Head Baseball Coach at Handley and Deshler)
Q- How long have you coached?
A- I am starting my 19th season.
Q- What sports did you play growing up?
A- I played Football and Baseball in High School and Junior College Baseball
Q- Have you won any titles?
A- We won Back to Back State Championships in Football at Deshler in 98 and 99 when I was the Offensive Coordinator. We won the Region 8 Championship in 2001 when I was the Head Football Coach at Sheffield High School. We have won Back to Back Region 8 Championships at Bob Jones in 2009 and 2010 as I served as Head Football Coach.
