School bus involved in early morning accident
Published 9:22am Monday, October 3, 2011A Madison City School bus was involved in a rear-end collision Monday morning.
Transportation Director Bobby Jackson said the bus driver, William Leslie, didn’t see the Ford pick-up truck before he hit it.
No students were on the bus, which was on its way to Bob Jones High School to pick up students.
Jackson said Leslie has been a bus driver for the past 8 years.
- Jackson said no one was injured.
Leslie was transported to Huntsville Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
“We don’t like these kinds of things to happen, and we’re glad no kids were on the bus,” Jackson said.
