Student arrested for making bomb threat

A  16-year-old female student at Hazel Green High School was arrested Friday after investigators say she made a bomb threat earlier in the day.

The Sheriff’s Department opened a criminal investigation to find out who wrote the threat that triggered the evacuation.

The teen was booked into the Neeves/Davis Center. She was charged with one count of making a terrorist threat, which is a Class C Felony.
