More storms expected to hit area

More storms are expected in the area later this evening as the National Weather Service issued a sever thunderstorm warning for Madison County.

The NWS Doppler radar indicated a sever thunderstorm capable of producing golf ball size hail and damaging winds. Some areas of Madison County including Meridianville and Buckhorn High School have already seen damage.

A tornado warning remains in effect until 9 p.m.

The low tonight is expected to be 42 degrees with winds from NW at 10 to 20 mph. There is a 70 percent chance of rain.
