An early morning fire on Saturday broke out at a home on Ritha’s Way.
Around 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning the Huntsville Fire Department and the Moores Mill Volunteer Fire Department responded to 212 Ritha’s Way to the home of Mel Johnson to a reported structure fire. Upon arriving the firefighters could see flames shooting high into the sky.
According to neighbors firefighters made an interior assault with the fear that someone might be inside the home.
Luckily Mr. Johnson and his family were not home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.
