Hazel Green man killed in crash

A late morning crash claims the life of a 21 year-old Hazel Green man.

The accident happened at 11:04 a.m. at the intersection of Charity Lane and Highway 231/431, one of the most dangerous intersections in Madison County.

According to Don Webster of HEMSI, a car slammed into the back of an agricultural tractor. The driver of the car was pronounced dead on the scene

A new traffic light was just installed earlier this month after years of residents frustration and pleading to do so.
