Four Arrested and Charged with Burglary

Huntsville Police responded to a report of four suspicious males in the area of Rickwood Drive in Huntsville on Thursday around 1:30 p.m.
According to the police report several young males were seen leaving the area. An off duty officer noticed a vehicle matching the description of the one that left the area just earlier that was occupied by the four young males. Once officers stopped the vehicles and detained the males, while other officers checked the area.
Officers noticed an open back door to a residence on Rickwood Drive

On Thursday, May 10, 2012, at approximately 1:30 p.m. officers
were dispatched to the area of Rickwood Drive on a report of 4 suspicious males in the area. According
to the complainant, several young males were seen leaving the area in a vehicle. An off-duty officer
that was driving to work arrived in the area first and observed a vehicle matching the description
leaving the area and was occupied by four males. Officers stopped the vehicle and while checking the
area, observed an insecure back door of a residence on Rickwood Drive.

The occupants of the vehicle were subsequently arrested and charged with two counts of Burglary 3rd and investigators anticipate other charges.

The suspects were identified as:

Dewayne Lavonce Robinson B/M of Huntsville D.O.B. 1-16-90
Corderius Quantez Hamlett B/M of Huntsville D.O.B. 3-16-90
1 17 y/o juvenile of Huntsville

Investigators advised that at least 20 residential burglary cases may be cleared by these arrests.
