A man was killed and four others injured Sunday afternoon in a two-car accident.
Arael Hernandez-Roblero, 22, was riding in the passenger side a blue Pontiac Grand Prix traveling west on Cecil Ashburn Drive with a male driver. A Honda Sedan, carrying three passengers was traveling East on that same street. Police said the driver of the Pontiac lost control of his car and slid into the eastbound traffic, colliding with the Honda. The point of impact was the passenger side door of the Pontiac. Hernandez-Roblero was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to Huntsville Hospital with critical injuries.
The three passengers in the Honda were also transported to Huntsville Hospital, but with non-life threatening injuries.
