A juvenile is in serious condition after he was shot in the face Saturday morning.
According to Huntsville Police, the young man told hospital personnel Saturday morning he was riding in a friends car near Medaris Road when subjects in another car began fired shots. The victim was shot in the face.
He was rushed to the emergency room by his friends he was riding with, and then they fled the scene.
The car he was riding in was found and secured by police for further investigation.
The young man is in serious condition, but officials said his injuries are not life-threatening at this time.
The shooter or shooters have not be found.
