Police seek suspect for teen’s murder

Police are looking for Rodney O’Neal Jones Jr., 17, a Huntsville resident, who is charged with the murder of the 17-year-old who was shot on Eastbrook Drive Saturday night and died Monday morning.

The Huntsville Police Department secured an adult warrant for Jones’ arrest for the charge of murder.

Police ask anyone with information that could lead to his arrest to contact them at 256-722-7100.

Jones should be considered armed and dangerous.

Jessica Sharnay Martin

Huntsville resident Jessica Sharnay Martin, 20, is also being charged for the murder of the 17-year-old. She was arrested by police on Thursday.
