Jury finds Amy Bishop guilty

Amy Bishop was found guilty of capital murder by the jury.

Former Madison Mayor Sandy Kirkendall had been elected foreman by the jury, and he read down the verdict at 4:15 p.m.

Judge Mann sentenced Bishop to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the capital murder charge and life in prison for each attempted murder charge.
