City officials will compete Tuesday night in Texas Roadhouse’s Battle of the Beef.
Ten percent of the nights’ total food purchases will be donated to a charity chosen by the Battle of the Beef winner.
Potential charity winners include Muscular Dystrophy Association, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Toys for Tots, Semper Fi Riders and New Hope Children’s Clinic.
Competitors include a firefighter, a police officer, a Wounded Warrior military veteran, the executive director of the Greater Huntsville Humane Society and the managing partner of Texas Roadhouse.
The Battle of the Beef will begin at 6 p.m. at the Texas Roadhouse at 121 Jeff Road in Huntsville.
The event is planned to be held annually.
