Huntsville Marine injured in Afghanistan

A Marine from Huntsville was injured in Afghanistan last week.

Lance Corporal Kendall Bane was shot several times in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan.

Bane is a 2011 graduate of Westminster Christian Academy.

Bane wrote on his Facebook profile Monday, “In Germany surgery soon. Hoping to be in the states by Friday. Thanks for the prayers and to my family and awesome girlfriend for being so strong for me. And to the guys that were there by my side in the unforgiving minute, I owe you my life.”
