Funeral services for the Lee High School student killed by a train Friday afternoon are scheduled for today.
Chapel service for Dylan DeWayne Jones, 14, begins at 11 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. A burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
Visitation if today from 5-8 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home.
Jones was walking walking south on the railroad tracks when he was hit by a southbound train near Lee High School, according to the Huntsville Police Department. The train conductor made multiple attempts to alert Jones, but Jones never responded.
The train was unable to stop the train before reaching Jones, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
