HUNTSVILLE – A portable home move that stretches almost the entirety of Huntsville city limits will be sure to cause traffic delays for those leaving late.
According to a news release by the Huntsville Police Department, Don Kennedy & Sons House Moving Company will begin the move at around 9:00 a.m. at the 2600 block of Green Cove Rd. in south Huntsville.
From there, the house will move onto the Memorial Parkway access road, left on Airport Rd., Airport Rd becomes Johnson Rd. and take a right on Triana Blvd.
The house will then proceed left on Drake Ave., right on Patton Rd. which becomes Jordan Ln. The house will cross over US Hwy 72 as Jordan Ln. becomes AL Hwy 53 left on Plummer Rd.
On the final leg of the move, the house will continue right on Indian Creek Rd., left on Douglass Rd., right on Jeff Rd., left on AL Hwy 53 and end at 8175 Al Hwy 53.
