HUNTSVILLE — Huntsville Police responded to calls of a shooting at the 2702 block of Bridge Rd. on Friday night.
According to the shift incident report, police responded to the call at around 9:15 p.m. and found Darrin Fennell, 27, shot multiple times. Fennell suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to Huntsville Hospital.
Police allege that William Robinson, 37, shot Fennell after an altercation at the party. Robinson was arrested by Huntsville Police at a different location and was later discovered to have been shot in the lower right leg which police say was not caused by the victim.
Police questioned an individual who they say shot Robinson in the leg and the individual was released without being charged.
Robinson was transported to Huntsville Hospital by Huntsville Police where he was treated, released and formally charged with attempting to commit murder.
