HUNTSVILLE — Sci-Quest will be hosting it’s Parents’ Night Out on April 6 to help parents enjoy four hours of alone time.

The event will begin with a 5:30 p.m. drop-off allowing parents to have an opportunity to get a 30 minute head start. The event is for children between the ages of 4 and 10 years old and cost is $23 for the first child and $18 for each additional child.

Sci-Quest combines the world of engineering and science with kid friendly activities like building experiments and interacting with educational devices.

The theme for April 6 is focusing on the world of toads and frogs. Ages 4 to 6 will learn about the amphibians from “the inside out.” Kids will be able to make a frog craft and be able to interact with a real frog.

Ages 7 and up will look at frogs more closely looking at real and victual dissections to “discover human anatomy by looking at the insides of a real frog.”

Children will enjoy a pizza, various other activities, a movie and play time on the exhibit floor in a secure environment. Parents’ Night Out is hosted every first Saturday and third Friday of each month. For more information, call 256-837-0606.
