HUNTSVILLE — The Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau unveiled new and updated items on April 17 at their Church St. location.
The bureau revealed an updated visitor kiosk and brochure rack that will be featured at the Madison County Courthouse that includes new photos of attractions and points of interest in Madison County.
A new birding trail map was also part of the April 17 unveiling with Madison County Commission Charmian Dale Strong on hand.
“Our community truly has something for everybody.” Strong said. “This new information kiosk will help both visitors and residents alike see all of the fun and unique activities available in Madison County so they can spend their money here and boost our local economy.”
According to a release by the bureau, the map highlights 13 birding sites and “categorizes each location based on featured birds, season, terrain and hours open for bird watching.”
Judy Ryals, president/CEO of the Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau said the updates to both the kiosk and map are vital to sustain an always changing, always current tourism hotspot.
“We’re always looking for new opportunities to highlight all there is to do in Madison County. The updated visitor kiosk and brochure rack help us showcase our beautiful community and its many attractions,” Ryals said. “The new Birding Trail Visitor Map details yet another great activity we have to offer in our community.”
