Robert 'Bobby' Lovett

Funeral for Robert "Bobby" Lovett, 44, of Madison was Monday, Jan. 29, at 11 a.m. at Madison Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Hendrix officiating.

Interment was at Limestone Memorial Gardens.


Mr. Lovett died Friday, Jan. 26, 2007. He was born Nov. 8, 1962, in Franklin, Tenn. to William Davis Lovett Jr. and Virginia Andrews Jefferson Lovett. He was a member of Madison Free Will Baptist Church. He worked for United Launch Alliance and earned his engineering degree from Tennessee Technological University.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia J. Lovett; grandparents, William Davis Lovett Sr., Eula Lovett, Brown Jefferson Sr. and Allein Jefferson.

He is survived by his wife, Terry Warner Lovett; two sons, Thomas Lovett and Joseph Lovett; a daughter, Sarah Lovett, all of Madison; his father, William Davis Lovett Jr. of Franklin; a brother, Billy Lovett of Franklin; two sisters, Vera Reed of Thompson Station, Tenn., and Lynn Croft of Spring Hill, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Billy Lovett, Jeff Lovett, Johnny Reed, Charles Reed, Troy Batey, John Croft, Hank Jefferson, Dan Beasley, Greg Underwood and Gary Graham.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the college fund for the Lovett children c/o Madison Free Will Baptist Church.
