Kenneth Earl Junior

Mr. Kenneth Earl Junior, 75, of Madison passed away Monday, August 20, 2007 in Athens. Mr. Junior was born in Alabama and had been a lifelong resident of Madison.He served four years in the Army during the Korean War, worked for Morton Thykol as a mechanical and chemical engineer then retired after 35 years of service. Mr. Junior is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Grace Junior. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Atnip Junior of Madison; one son, Daniel E. Junior of Lewisburg Tenn.; one daughter, Janice Junior and Dr. John C. Long of Port St. Lucie Fla.; one brother, James Junior of Madison and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Visitation was Aug. 21 at the funeral home. A graveside service was Aug. 22 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Center, 2200 West Main Street, Suite A-200 Durham, North Carolina 27705 or the Capshaw Baptist Building fund 14911 Dupree Worthey Rd., Harvest, 35742. Madison Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
