High school volleyball wrap-up

New Hope def. Sparkman 20-25, 25-19, 15-12

The Lady Senators won the first game at home Tuesday but could not hold on for the victory against Class 4A New Hope. Sparkman (2-6) was paced by Jamiee Freeman's 13 kills, four blocks and four aces. Kinsey Beck had 13 assists and four blocks and Cara Drake finished with 10 digs.

Bob Jones def. New Hope 25-8, 25-8


In Harvest Tuesday, Bob Jones had little trouble with the Lady Indians in a two-game victory. The Lady Patriots improved to 6-2 with the win.

Maggie Fletcher finished with 10 kills, Heather Thomas had 11 digs and Kelly Wilson had 33 assists.
