Lanier, Joe Louis
Joe Louis Lanier, 51, of Madison died Jan. 26 at Huntsville Hospital. He is survived by wife, Annie Lanier; son, Allen Holman, both of Madison; sisters, Shelvie Garner, Jospehine Malone, Lucy Cosby and Mattie Lanier, all of Huntsville; brothers, Joseph Davis and Carl Wayne Lanier, both of Los Angeles, Robert Lanier and Marven Lanier, both of Huntsville. Funeral services were Jan. 31 at Saint Elizabeth Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Abraham Moore officiating. Interment followed in Madison Memory Gardens.
