Charles J. Reading
Charles J. Reading of Madison, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, died Feb. 10. Beloved husband of Joan M. Militello Reading, dear son-in-law of Louis and Joann Militello and brother-in-law of Elizabeth "Betty" Militello, he was a loving nephew, cousin, friend and co-worker. Mr. Reading was president of Yulista Aviation, Huntsville, retiring from PEO, Aviation of Huntsville in 2002 with over 32 years of federal service. He was a prior member of St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Charles, Mo., and a member of the Army Aviation Association of America. He received the Order of St. Michael Silver Award in 2002 and was a recipient of the Logistician of the Year Award in 2001. He worked on the Black Hawk, Comanche and CH-47 Chinook helicopter programs. The family is being served by the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay St., St. Charles, Mo. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 15 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 324 South Third St., St. Charles. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery.
