Gore to swim at Gardner-Webb

Derek Gore, a senior at Bob Jones High School, recently signed a swimming scholarship with Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC. Gore has been a member of the last four state championship boys swimming teams at BJHS. He is joined by friends and family members (L-R) grandmother Dorothy Allen, mother Patricia Gore, father Greg Gore, coach Barbara Belyea, (Back, L-R) grandfather Jesse Allen, Pam von Jouanne of Madison Swimming Association, BJHS swim coach Mike Gunner, uncle Mike Allen, and Roger von Jouanne of MSA and Bob Jones High School Principal Robbie Parker.
