Coby Marbrey

Coby Marbrey, 80, of Toney died May 1. Mrs. Marbrey was a Red Cross volunteer for 15 years. She was a member of McDonald Chapel United Methodist Church for 35 years and presently a member of Hazel Green United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolen V. Marbrey. Survivors include her children, Leonard Evans Marbrey and wife Cindy of Meridianville, BarbaraSyd Zander and Cindy Marbrey, both of Toney, and Nathan Marbrey and wife Dianna of Raleigh, N.C.; brother, Charles A. King of Huntsville; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with Dr. Michael Stewart, the Rev. J.B. Pendergraft, and Clyde Reambacker officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
