Sara Louzetta Schaffer, 71, of Madison died July 21, 2008.

She was born in Huntsville to the late Rueben and Hyda Mae Barnes. She was the widow of Clarence Milton Schaffer.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Susan Schaffer and Mark and Tabitha Schaffer; daughter, Debora van de Erve; brother and sister-in-law, John and Glenda Barnes; sisters, Marie and husband Jim Johnson and Faye Bass; and grandchildren, Marissa, Brian, Sara Ann, Emilee, and M.J. A funeral service was held July 23 with Guy McDaniel officiating. Interment was in Gurley City Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville.
