Burns Locke Sr.

Burns Locke Sr., 90, of Madison died Aug. 30, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his son, M.B. Locke Jr.


Mr. Locke served his country with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and he was the former owner of Locke’s Gulf Station for more than 50 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Jo-Ann Couch of Madison; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Sept. 3 at Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home assisting the family.
