Madison Academy led 26-24 at the start of the fourth quarter. The Mustangs put the game out of reach with two touchdowns in the final six minutes of play.

Hoover 35, Sparkman 9

Terrance Pride’s 8-yard touchdown run was the only bright spot for Sparkman in a loss to Hoover in the Senators’ season finale.

Sparkman finished the season with a 3-7 record.

Pride’s touchdown gave the Senators a 7-0 lead in the first quarter, but Hoover exploded with four touchdown passes by Simon Propst in the second quarter.

Hoover finished with 301 yards passing against the Senators.

Sparkman was held to just 236 yards of total offense in the loss to the Bucs (9-1).
