Forrest Clay Erwin, 89, of Madison died Nov. 21, 2008.

Mr. Erwin retired from the U.S. Air Force with the rank of lieutenant colonel. He served his country in both World War II and the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bill Erwin.

Survivors include his sons, Patrick Erwin and wife Brenda, and Stan Erwin and wife Lynda; and three grandchildren, Brandon, Robbie, and Erica Erwin.

Services were held Nov. 23 at Berryhill Funeral Home, Rev. J.D. Spencer officiating. Burial followed at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
