Jesse Cleo Cross, 79, of Owens Cross Roads died Dec. 13, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Cross; and mother, Jessie Cross.

Survivors include wife, Peggy Cross of Owens Cross Roads; son, Michael Cross and wife Samatha of Houston; son, Jeffery Cross and wife Michelle of Madison; daughter, Sissy Berry and husband Shannon of Arab; three granddaughters, Sarah, Caitlyn, and Emily; four grandsons, Cody, Logon, Cameron, and Garrett; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends; and a very special friend and buddy, Tom LeNan.

Services were held Dec. 16 at New Hope Funeral Home, Rev. Charles Miller officiating. Interment was in Twickenham Memory Gardens.
